FAS-GSO is a group created by and consisting of students in the University of Florida’s Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences Program

Mission: To support the graduate students in the Program of Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences. FAS-GSO accomplishes this goal by promoting interaction among graduate students, and facilitating communication between students and faculty. This organization acts as a voice for the graduate students at both the Department and University levels, and provides and promotes professional development. These goals shall be achieved through monthly meetings, annual symposia, mentoring new students, social activities, and encouragement of participation in professional societies. *This organization shall be not for profit or non-commercial in nature.
